Our school is committed to offering a range of wraparound care solutions to provide flexible and affordable support to you as a busy parent, as well as making sure that there are additional enrichment opportunities for your child.
It’s why Wombridge offers one of the best wraparound childcare in Telford.
If you’re a prospective parent and haven’t had a school tour yet, please call our school to arrange a visit.
‘Your local school of choice’
We understand that many parents and carers work full-time and with little childcare support. With that in mind, we aim to provide you with a full day of wraparound care consisting of both childcare and education in a safe and welcoming environment for your child.
Extended School day available from 7.30am to 4.15pm, every day, Monday to Friday, with Breakfast Club and After School Clubs.
Not only will your child receive the best day’s education possible but we will also be there for them from breakfast to the end of your working day.
And it won’t all be books and learning (although there’s just the right amount of that), but there’s also clubs, structured and unstructured play and creative activities as well as time to relax and have quiet moments.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club – New from September
We’re pleased to introduce our new Breakfast Club, available from September.
- 7:30–8:00am: £2 per session per child
- 8:00–8:30am: Free
Children must be booked in at least 3 days in advance via Parentpay.. Please ensure your child is on the school site no later than 8:05am when gates will close.
The Breakfast Club is a great way for children to start the day with a calm, friendly start and enjoy breakfast before school begins.
Breakfast is served on entry and after the children have eaten there is a range of activities for them to choose from. They can also complete homework or read with an adult if they would like to. At the end of Breakfast Club, children are taken straight to the playground to meet their teachers and peers, ready for the school day.
Payment for Breakfast Club should be made online using ParentPay, cash or cheques will not be accepted. Please email school A2112@telford.gov.uk with any ParentPay queries. Sessions should be paid for in advance.
The breakfast menu is in line with our school’s Healthy Food policy and consists of a choice of cereals served with semi-skimmed milk, toast, bagels, porridge, beans etc.(depending on availability) Please make sure Breakfast Club staff are aware of any food allergies.
Numbers are limited and places need to be booked in advance

After school care
Our provision aims to give your child the best possible end to their school day. The children have the opportunity to mix with others from all year groups in a fun and friendly environment, which in turn promotes their learning and development. It is run by staff who your children will already be familiar with from within their normal school day.
After school care, including a snack and drink runs from 3:15pm until 4:15pm this costs £2.75 per session. (Late payment charge £2.50 per 5 minutes, per child)
We strive to provide a wide range of activities including:
- Arts and crafts – colouring and puzzles etc.
- Board games
- I pads which are supervised with access to educational programmes and educational games.
- Opportunities to complete reading and homework.
- We provide outdoor play weather permitting.
We also have an exciting range of clubs including, football, hockey, archery, dodgdeball, kids zumba, minecraft, pokemon club drawing club and musical theatre.
