The Stunning Start to Ancient Greece went really well and the children loved exploring the range of activities we set out in the hall.

• Tasting Greek food (feta cheese, pitta bread dipped in olive oil, chickpeas and green and black olives)
• Writing their name using the Greek alphabet
• Matching Greek mythical creatures to their descriptions
• Observing and discussing artefacts
• Using iPads to research a range of Greek Gods and Goddesses
• Attempting to solve the ‘Stomachian Square’ puzzle studied by Archimedes
• Writing questions about what they want to find out to guide learning further
